Byrd McDaniel (PhD '19 Ethnomusicology) joins Emory University in 2020-21 as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Bill and Carol Fox Center for Humanistic Inquiry. He will be able to devote the fall semester to research, and will teach a course on Digital Music Cultures in the spring. Byrd will be working on a book manuscript entitled Spectacular Listening: The Performance of Music Consumption, among other research projects. Congratulations, Byrd!
