Brown University Professor of Music Butch Rovan's research and creative work involves both composition and the design of new musical interfaces. Just last week, Professor Rovan received news that the accessible music composition interface he designed for our PhD candidate in Music & Multimedia Composition Adele Faizullina, and other non-sighted composers, has been named one of the top innovations at Brown for the year! The top eight innovations will be narrowed down to three at the Innovation@Brown Showcase on September 26, 2024 from 3-7pm at Venture Café Providence at 225 Dyer Street.
