The Department of Music is proud to share the news that Benjamin Teitelbaum (PhD '13, Ethnomusicology) received tenure and the rank of Associate Professor of Musicology and International Affairs at the University of Colorado Boulder. Teitelbaum joined Colorado's Musicology department in 2017, and since published the monographs Lions of the North: Sounds of the New Nordic Radical Nationalism (Oxford UP 2017) and War for Eternity: The Return of Traditionalism and the Rise of the Populist Right (Penguin 2020) in addition to academic articles, chapters, and features and op-eds in The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, The Nation, and The Atlantic.
